Ça nous paraissait tellement évident qu'on n'a pas eu le besoin de préciser, mais c'est toujours bien de dire le principe. On cherche à créer une ambiance sociale, conviviale et traditionnelle au sens d'une milonga.
C'est un événement où on vient participer parce qu'on apprécie et on applique :

1. Invitation par mirada y cabeceo :
Ceci est un jeu : on n'insiste pas par des gros yeux ou bouger la tête sans donner le temps que l'autre personne nous fixe le regard. Ceci est une séduction, l'art de regarder une personne.
Une belle tanda commence par un beau regard et une belle mirada.

2. Une belle ronda :
On fait attention à la ronda, on circule de façon homogène et on reste sur notre ligne de danse. On ne bloque pas la ronda en restant immobile dans un espace et bien on ne bouge pas non plus dans tous les sens sous prétexte : "je ne touche personne" : vous ne touchez personne probablement parce c'est les autres qui vous évitent.
Un vrai bon danseur est celui qui circule bien dans l'espace collectif en plus d'être bien avec son partenaire.

3. Ambiance sociale :
On socialise, on ne s'enferme pas dans notre petit groupe d'amis en ignorant les autres. En même temps, on choisit mutuellement avec qui on a envie de danser : chacun(e) est libre de danser avec qui il (elle) a envie.
Une belle milonga est celle où personne ne sent exclu et chacun(e) participe avec sa convivialité.
 

4. Tables et chaises et l'espace hors piste :
Il y aura des tables et des chaises pour tout le monde. On peut bouger et chercher des partenaires ailleurs évidemment. Attention, ne pas bloquer la mirada des autres lorsqu'on bouge ou on est debout. Évitez de vous asseoir ou de mettre vos affaires à la place d'une autre personne. On aura un petit vestiaire en haut au mezzanine. C'est là aussi qu'on aura les expos de chaussures et de vêtements.

5. On quitte la piste pendant la cortina (sauf si c'est fait pour danser).

6. On quitte la piste ensemble avant de se dire au revoir ou à la prochaine, cela apporte plus de convivialité.

7. La musique est traditionnelle : principalement l'âge d'or sauf quelques exceptions pour avant ou après l'âge d'or. Mais c'est l'âge d'or qui est notre chouchou.
Le format est : 2T, 1V, 2T, 1M.
Tanda de tango : 4 tangos (jamais 3)
Tanda de valse : 3 (ou 4 mais surtout 3)
Tanda de milonga : 3 (ou 4 mais surtout surtout 3)

It seemed so obvious to us that we didn't need to specify, but it's always good to mention the importance of the essence. We seek to create a social & friendly atmosphere and traditional in the sense of a milonga.It is an event where we come to participate because we appreciate and we apply :

1. Invitation by mirada y cabeceo.
This is a game : we do not insist with big eyes or move our heads without giving the other person the time to look at us. Take this like a seduction, the art of looking at someone.
A beautiful tanda starts with a beautiful mirada.

2. A beautiful ronda :
We pay attention to the ronda, we move forward homogeneously and we stay on our lines of dance.Neither do we block the ronda by remaining still in a corner, nor do we move in all directions under the pretext : "I do not touch anyone" : you probably do not touch anyone because it is the others who avoid you.
A truly good dancer is the one who not only is comfortable with his or her partner but also has a good floorcraft.

3. Friendly atmosphere :
We socialise, we do not lock ourselves in our small group of friends by ignoring the others. At the same time, we mutually choose with whom we want to dance : everyone is free to dance with whom he or she wants.
A beautiful milonga is one where no one feels excluded and everyone contributes with a warm attitude.

4. Tables, chairs and the space off the dance floor :

There will be tables and chairs for everyone : we can move and look for potential partners to dance sitting elsewhere of course, please pay attention not to block mirada of other dancers while you move or stand. Avoid sitting or putting your belongings at a place reserved for somebody else. There is a small cloakroom upstairs at the mezzanine, where there will be shoe and cloth stands.
 

5. We leave the dance floor during the cortina (unless it is a cortina made for dancing).
 

6. We leave the dancefloor together before saying bye or until next tanda, this brings more c

conviviality.

7. The music is traditional : predominantly the golden age, perhaps with a few exceptions for before or after the golden age. But it is the golden age that is our favourite.
The format is : 2T, 1V, 2T, 1M.
Tanda of tango : 4 tangos (never 3)
Tanda of vals : 3 (or 4 but mostly 3)
Tanda of milonga : 3 (or 4 but mostly mostly 3)
